Attention Slow Roll Friends! We have some really exciting things planned for the upcoming season- FIRST: We are moving the DAY we ride! We will now roll on TUESDAY, so that we can take advantage of more local venues that are often closed on Mondays. SECONDLY: We are rolling EVERY TUESDAY! No more guessing which day, if there are postponements, canceled or anything else, we will ride Every Tuesday unless the weather keeps us inside. Our season opener will be a May Day celebration starting at the bike parking lot across from the carrousel park, on May 1. Meet at 6, roll at 6:30. If you would like to be part of the planning, lead a ride through your neighborhood, or just join in, meet us at Relax on March 20. The plan is to have a pre-meeting ride at 4:30 and planning meeting at 5:30. See you all soon!
Group rides will start at 6:00pm from the bike shop. This is a free group ride, we just encourage you to join the csc club for the benefits.
All group rides will vary in average speed/pace, depending on elevation, weather conditions and the turn out of each group.
Here is a list of approximately what the pace of each ride will entail:
It is highly encourage that you stay with the group of people you left with in the beginning of the ride. Always be courteous of slower riders and wait up for them after a hill. If you must separate from the group make sure you have a friend with you.
